Emily Rivera Brown, DO, FAAP is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Osteopathic Pediatricians.
Dr. Brown grew up in the town of Wallkill (Scotchtown) and was a graduate of Pine Bush High School.
She obtained her undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. In 1999, she attained her lifelong dream, earning her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York.
After serving as an intern, resident and Chief Pediatric Resident at Good Samaritan and Winthrop Hospitals in Long Island, New York, Dr. Brown returned to her hometown.
Dr. Brown works at Middletown Pediatrics, part of Boston Children's Health Physicians, she is an adjunct faculty member at Touro College of Osteopathic Medical School and a medical director for the Pine Bush Central School district.
Dr. Brown is a mother of four, who lives with her husband and children in the town of Hamptonburgh. Her spare time is spent being an active mother, who volunteers time to her children's activities. She also enjoys volunteering at her children's schools in the Washingtonville Central School District.
