Your Personal Belongings and Valuables

If you are admitted, you may wish to have your own clothes: a robe, slippers, pajamas or nightgown, eyeglasses and the toiletries that you may want. Please be aware that the hospital is not responsible for any personal belongings you bring - unless they are check in with Security. We encourage our patients to not bring or keep jewelry, watches, large sums of money, cell phones or electronics with you.  You might want to keep only enough cash for magazines, newspapers or other incidental items.

If you cannot send valuables home, you can check them in with Security upon admission or through your nurse.

You may receive a survey by mail or by e-mail after your visit. Your feedback is important. Please fill out the survey and return it to us as soon as possible. Thank you for taking this opportunity to let us know how we are doing and how we can improve.

Visitor Management System

Garnet Health Medical Center utilizes metal detectors and a Visitor Management System in the main lobby to provide a more accurate head count of who and how many visitors are in the hospital in case of an emergency. All visitors will need to show valid ID upon entering the hospital and the new hi-tech ID card scanning system will produce a visitor badge that must be worn at all times.
