What to Expect
It’s normal to feel a little nervous, shy or overwhelmed when you first join a new support group; being vulnerable with strangers can have that effect. Take comfort in knowing you are in a safe space with others who are going through the similar situations. The act of simply listening can be just as beneficial as contributing to the conversation.
