About Mitchell T. Kolker, MD

Dr. Mitchell T. Kolker received his Medical Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. He went on to complete a general surgery internship at SUNY Buffalo and then a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.

Prior to medical school, Dr. Kolker was involved in cancer research at the Beth Israel Hospital and Harvard Medical School. In the summer while in medical school, he received a scholarship award from the American Society of Hematology to continue the cancer research. This work resulted in several publications in peer reviewed journals.

Dr. Kolker is a board-certified Otolaryngologist. He currently is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery. His interests include endoscopic sinus surgery, pediatric otolaryngology, snoring, and obstructive sleep apnea. He is affiliated with Vassar Brothers Ambulatory Surgery Center in Fishkill, Orange Regional Medical Center, and Hudson Valley Ambulatory Center.

Dr. Kolker is also now performing a breakthrough procedure for the treatment of Chronic Sinusitis called Balloon Sinuplasty.
