Catskill Regional Medical Center announces the 42nd Annual 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon presented by the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association, benefitting Catskill Regional Medical Center’s Cardio-Pulmonary Department. This year’s Heart-A-Thon will take place on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Woodland Wildlings Garden Café, located on the Hospital’s ground floor.

The event will be broadcast live on 98.3 WSUL, and will feature guest speakers, guest host segments with community leaders and personalities, information and tips about heart health and a variety of health care demonstrations. Donors wishing to have their “in honor of” pledges read aloud on the air may contact Director of Patient Experience Jodi Goodman directly, at (845) 397-3508, to make their donations and requests.

All proceeds from the 42nd Annual 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon presented by the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association are earmarked exclusively for hospital use. This year, the funds will help subsidize the purchase of a new echocardiogram unit.

“Our cardio-pulmonary team helps patients fight and cope with heart disease every day, battling the number one killer of men and women in the United States,” said CEO Jonathan Schiller. “WSUL and the Heart-A-Thon play an important role in our annual fundraising, and we cannot thank our partners and generous donors enough for always coming through to make this yearly event a success. The money raised helps us maintain the advanced level of cardiac care we are proud to provide to our Sullivan County neighbors.”

Event sponsors for the 42nd Annual 98.3 WSUL Heart-A-Thon presented by the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association include: SUNY Sullivan, Jeff Bank, Yellow Cab, Merrell Benco & Lawrence Miller Insurance Companies, NYSCOPBA, Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, Foster Hospitality and More.

Private donations can be made payable to CFOS Bold Gold Media Fund, and mailed to: Catskill Regional Medical Center, Attn: Jodi Goodman, P.O. Box 800, Harris, N.Y. 12742. All donations are tax deductible. To make your donation by phone, contact Jodi Goodman at (845) 397-3508.
