Catskill Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that it has been granted $12.9 million in New York State funding through the Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program.

“This is a terrific opportunity for Catskill Regional Medical Center to strengthen and preserve access to high quality health care for the citizens of Sullivan County,” said Catskill Regional Medical Center Chief Executive Officer Jonathan Schiller. “There are several administrative steps to go through before the grant funds are received and we will work closely with the State to administer this funding.”

Governor Andrew M. Cuomo recently announced $187 million in funding to support 25 statewide projects that will protect and transform New York State’s health care system. This funding from the Statewide Health Care Facility Transformation Program will improve patient care through the development of high-quality medical facilities and programs serving the inpatient, primary care, mental health, substance use disorder and long-term care needs of communities throughout the State.

Out of the 25 awards that were given statewide, only four were received in the Mid-Hudson region.
