MIDDLETOWN, NY (October 23, 2025) — Garnet Health will host a new Aphasia Communication Group in its Outpatient Rehabilitation Center at 75 Crystal Run Road, Suite 110, Middletown, NY, on the second Friday of each month, beginning Nov. 14, 2025.
Aphasia is a communication disorder that can occur after a brain injury, affecting speaking, understanding, reading or writing. This service offers a welcoming space for individuals with receptive or expressive aphasia to practice communication and connect with others in a group setting.
“We are proud to offer a safe and supportive space for individuals with aphasia,” said Ann McEnroe-O’Connor, rehabilitation therapy director. “This gives individuals a chance to build confidence, share stories and connect with others.”
This program is not covered by insurance and requires a $15 out-of-pocket fee. Payment can be made by cash or credit at the time of the session.
