Garnet Health Promotes Joyce Timko to Administrator of Diagnostic Imaging

Garnet Health, which includes Garnet Health Medical Center, Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills, Garnet Health Doctors, Garnet Health Urgent Care, Garnet Health Foundation and Garnet Health Foundation – Catskills, has promoted Joyce Timko to Administrator of Diagnostic Imaging for the health system.

In her new role, Timko will assume administrative oversight of Diagnostic Imaging for both Garnet Health Medical Center and Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills. She will oversee X-Ray, CT, PET CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Vascular Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, 3D Mammography, Bone Density, and Interventional Radiology services.

Timko has served as Diagnostic Imaging Director at Garnet Health for five years, leading her team to numerous accomplishments, including the ACR Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence certification. She has worked with multiple modalities within Diagnostic Imaging in expanding service line growth and implementing advanced imaging and support systems.

After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Radiology from Quinnipiac University, she went on to earn a Master of Business Administration from Mount St. Mary College and will complete a doctoral program in Business Healthcare Administration from Liberty University in December 2022.

Timko is also a Certified Radiology Administrator (CRA) and is ARRT registered in Radiography, Mammography and Computer Tomography (CT).
