Garnet Health Receives Business of the Year Award

MIDDLETOWN, NY (June 17, 2026) — Garnet Health was presented with the Business of the Year Award at the annual Board of Cooperative Educational Services (BOCES) Partnership Breakfast. This award was given to Garnet Health in recognition of its support of Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education (C-Tech) students and its commitment to developing the next generation of healthcare professionals.
The award recognizes Garnet Health’s role in providing education and career exploration for approximately 300 BOCES C-Tech stud
ents across multiple areas of the health system. Garnet Health hosted students in a variety of departments, including Pharmacy, Cardiology, and Garnet Health Doctors Urgent Care and physician offices, helping students gain valuable exposure to healthcare careers and real-world learning experiences.
“We are proud to receive the Business of the Year Award in recognition of our partnership with Orange-Ulster BOCES Career and Technical Education,” said Ann-Marie Neville, Senior Administrator of Talent Management at Garnet Health, who accepted the award on behalf of the health system. “By welcoming students into our organization, we aim to provide meaningful learning experiences that help students explore healthcare careers and envision their future in the field.”
BOCES are regional education cooperatives that provide shared services, vocational training and special education programs to local school districts. Through its C-Tech programs, Orange-Ulster BOCES prepares students by providing hands-on experience. Garnet Health supports this by providing students with direct access to healthcare professionals, workplace learning opportunities and career mentorship.
