The Greater Hudson Valley Health System, comprised of Orange Regional Medical Center, Catskill Regional Medical Center, Orange Regional Medical Group, Catskill Regional Medical Group, and Orange Regional Medical Center Foundation, is pleased to announce the following changes to its leadership.

Will Scheuermann has been promoted to Vice President, Revenue Strategy & Managed Care at Greater Hudson Valley Health System.

Mr. Scheuermann’s responsibilities include oversight of all third-party reimbursement, preparation of annual cost reports and managing related audits by Medicare, Medicaid, the Department of Health (HCRA) and other agencies. He is also responsible for managing third-party reimbursement consulting relationships and contracting.

Mr. Scheuermann started his career with Catskill Regional Medical Center in 1998, while in graduate school. In 2001, he was recruited to both Horton Hospital and Arden Hill to work on budgeting, financial planning and reimbursement activities. In 2005, he assumed responsibility for Managed Care contracting and was promoted to Administrator in 2014.

Shawn Killeen has been promoted to Manager of Revenue Strategy and Managed Care at Greater Hudson Valley Health System and is responsible for work with his team developing strategies to refine payer contracts, negotiating contract terms, operationalizing new contracts, and auditing reimbursement to contract terms. Additionally, Mr. Killeen assists in making decisions related to the organization’s managed care network while creating new relationships with insurance providers.

Mr. Killeen joined Greater Hudson Valley Health System in 2015 and was Revenue Strategy Analyst. He earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University at Albany and his Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from Marist College.

Craig Filippini has been promoted to Associate Chief Information Officer at Greater Hudson Valley Health System. In his new role, Mr. Filippini is responsible for the Communications and combined IT (infrastructure, financial, and clinical) teams. He also serves as a member of the IT Innovation and Technology committees.

Mr. Filippini joined the organization in 2016 and was formerly Administrator of Information Technology and responsible for the Information Technology Technical teams and the Communications department. He earned both his Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and his Masters of Business Administration degree from Mount Saint Mary College. Mr. Filippini holds numerous certifications including IT Enterprise Administrator from Microsoft, and IT Service Management. Before joining Greater Hudson Valley Health System, he was the Vice President and Chief Information Officer at SRSsoft, a national Electronic Health Record company.
