Patients and EMS personnel asked to enter through main lobby entrance

Expansion and renovations are underway to the emergency room at Catskill Regional Medical Center’s Grover M. Hermann Hospital in Callicoon, NY. Emergency room patients, including those brought to the hospital by ambulance, are asked to enter through the main lobby entrance.

The expansion includes the creation of several new rooms within the emergency room and renovation plans include a new heating, ventilation and air conditioning system; enhanced lighting and security systems; new flooring; and new medical equipment – all of which will help to enhance the patient experience. There will not be any major disruptions to emergency services during construction.

The project is expected to be complete by the end of the year. Signage has been placed inside of the main lobby entrance to direct patients and visitors to the emergency room location.
