Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills’ (formerly Catskill Regional Medical Center) Grover M. Hermann Hospital has received Press Ganey’s Guardian of Excellence Award® for Patient Experience in its Emergency Department for the third consecutive year and Pinnacle of Excellence Award for Patient Experience in its Emergency Department.

The Guardian of Excellence Award is a nationally-recognized honor bestowed upon top-performing healthcare organizations who consistently sustain performance in the top 5% of all Press Ganey clients for each reporting period over the course of the assessment year.

Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills’ Grover M. Hermann Hospital, received Press Ganey’s Guardian of Excellence Award® in 2018 and 2019, and has established a well-known and respected reputation for delivering excellent care in its Emergency Department.

This commitment to leading edge, patient-centered care has also been recognized with multiple honors in recent years from the National Rural Health Association, which has recognized Grover M. Hermann Hospital as a Top 20 Critical Access Hospital in the country for both Quality and Patient Satisfaction in 2018 and 2019.

For the first time ever, Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills’ Grover M. Hermann Hospital received Press Ganey’s Pinnacle of Excellence Award for patient experience in its Emergency Department. The award recognizes top-performing clients from health care organizations nationwide on the basis of extraordinary achievement and consistently high levels of excellence for at least three years in Patient Experience.
