Orange Regional Medical Center To Offer Free Lung Disease Support Group

Orange Regional Medical Center will host a free support group called Just Breathtaking. The support group takes place the 4th Wednesday of each month, beginning on April 25, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and runs April through November. The group will meet at Orange Regional Medical Center’s Community Health Education Center located at 110 Crystal Run Road, Middletown, NY.
This group will share knowledge through presentations made by various lung health professionals and will provide a safe space for socialization and group discussions. The group will be facilitated by Elyse Carroll, BSRC, RRT, CTTS, Manager of Pulmonology Rehabilitation at Orange Regional Medical Center.
The goal of this support group is to educate, support and connect people suffering with chronic lung disease. Participants will also learn ways to cope with lung conditions. Just Breathtaking will offer a combination of guest speakers, discussions as well as social activities. Led by trained facilitators, this group will provide patients with the tools to stay healthy and active.
