About Me
Dr. Malhotra received his Medical Degree from Maulanla Azad Medical College, Delhi, India. He completed a Residency in General Surgery at New York University Medical Center, New York, NY where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Malhotra completed a Research Fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City and a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric Surgery at Staten Island University Hospital, Staten Island, NY.
He is a member of American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), and The American College of Surgeons (ACS). He has been practicing bariatric surgery since 2002 and is former Medical Director of Bariatric Surgery at Long Island Jewish Medical Center, NY.
