We offer Car Seat Check appointments at Garnet Health Medical Center, located at 707 East Main Street in Middletown.
- Appointments are held Monday - Friday (rain or shine) from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., by appointment.

In the United States, motor vehicle crashes are a leading cause of death among children and one way to prevent this outcome, is to ensure that your child's car seat is properly installed.
Garnet Health's Child Passenger Safety Technicians will educate caregivers on the proper installation and use of child-safety seats. We review child passenger safety, car seat weight and height limits, proper car seat harness use, as well as car seat installation in the rear-facing and / or forward-facing positions.
We welcome all caregivers, expectant parents, and parents of children from infancy through age 12. Upon registering for a car seat check, caregivers should come prepared with a car seat. When possible, please also bring the car seat manual and the manual for the car it is being installed into. The installation and instruction takes 30 - 60 minutes.
