Donate blood in memory of Al "Funzi" Frangipane. Al “Funzi” Frangipane (1939–2026) was a proud U.S. Army veteran, former New York Supreme Court Court Administrator, dedicated blood donor, and lifelong volunteer. Married to the love of his life, Maria, for nearly 60 years, he was a devoted husband, father to Denise, Claudia, and Nicholas, and cherished Pop-Pop to Aidan, Alex, Hunter, and Ian. Known as “The Heart Man” and everyone’s favorite Santa, Al touched countless lives through his generosity, service, and unwavering love of family and community, leaving a lasting legacy.
