Garnet Health Announces Clinical Leadership Promotions

Garnet Health, which includes Garnet Health Medical Center, Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills, Garnet Health Doctors, Garnet Health Urgent Care, Garnet Health Foundation and Garnet Health Foundation – Catskills, is pleased to announce the following clinical leadership promotions.

Gregg Geisler has been promoted to Vice President of Clinical Operations at Garnet Health Medical Center. In his new role, Mr. Geisler oversees the operation of the Behavioral Health Unit and is responsible for the development of the Neurosciences service line. He maintains oversight of the Perioperative, Trauma and Bariatric service lines. Mr. Geisler has been with the organization since 2006 and was previously Senior Administrator of Perioperative and Trauma Services. 

Lisa Konopko has been promoted to Senior Nursing Director of the Rowley Family Birthing Center at Garnet Health Medical Center. In her new role, Ms. Konopko is responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of maternal child health programs and directing nursing care. She also oversees the Rowley Family Birthing Center which includes Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, Neonatal Intensive Care and the lactation department. Ms. Konopko joined Garnet Health Medical Center in 2020 and was previously a Nurse Unit Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Mother Baby Unit. 

Nicole Sewell has been promoted to Nursing Administrator of Clinical Operations at Garnet Health Medical Center. In this role, Ms. Sewell oversees the Staffing Office, Payroll Specialists, Float Pool for Registered Nurses, Unit Clerks and Nurse Assistants, Administrative Coordinators, the Administrative Director of Nursing (ADN) Team and Patient Flow Coordinators. She has been with the organization since 2010 and was previously Nurse Director of Float Pool, Nursing Payroll and Staffing.
