Garnet Health Medical Center Announces Nursing Administrator Promotion

Garnet Health Medical Center, formerly Orange Regional Medical Center, has promoted Shanita Reynolds, MSN, RN, CMSRN to Nursing Administrator of Professional Practice.

Reynolds joined Garnet Health Medical Center in 2017 as Nursing Director for Three South in Progressive Care. She later joined the Surgical Services team as Nursing Director for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit. This year, she was nominated for the 2022 Nurse Leader of Distinction.

In addition to her clinical roles, Reynolds has been a Nursing Instructor at SUNY Orange for the past five years and has served on several Garnet Health Medical Center councils as a Nurse Leader Advisor.

Reynolds earned her BSN with honors from Herbert H. Lehman College, received an MSN as a Clinical Nurse Leader from Sacred Heart University, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Aspen University.
