On May 4, 2021, Garnet Health Medical Center, formerly Orange Regional Medical Center, partnered with Middletown High School to vaccinate students 16 years and older. With parental consent, students received their first dose of the Pfizer vaccine. Garnet Health Medical Center’s vaccination team will return to administer second doses at the appropriate time. The vaccination team’s next student clinic will be at Monroe-Woodbury High School on May 6, 2021. Plans to hold vaccination clinics at other area high schools are being discussed.
