The Emergency Department and the Outpatient Rehabilitation Department at Garnet Health Medical Center -Catskills’ Grover M. Hermann Hospital have been named a 2022 Human Experience (HX) Guardian of Excellence Award® winners by Press Ganey for Patient Experience. The hospital is in the top 5% of healthcare providers in delivering patient experience in the last year in for their Emergency Department and Outpatient Rehabilitation. Press Ganey works with more than 41,000 healthcare facilities in its mission to reduce patient suffering and enhance caregiver resilience to improve the overall safety, quality and experience of care. It is the fifth time the hospital has earned this honor.

Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills’ Grover M. Hermann Hospital in Callicoon, NY has been named one of the Top 20 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in the country for Quality. This is the second year in a row that the Hospital has received this designation from the National Rural Health Association (NRHA) – received in 2017, 2018, and 2019. Grover M. Hermann Hospital scored best among critical access hospitals, as determined by The Chartis Center for Rural Health.
