Garnet Health Doctors Welcomes Psychiatrist Gulnaz Kiyamova, MD

HARRIS, NY (Dec. 26, 2025) — Garnet Health Doctors is pleased to welcome Gulnaz Kiyamova, MD, who recently joined the psychiatry practice at the Harris outpatient location, at 68 Harris Bushville Road, Harris, NY 12742. She is accepting new patients. 

Dr. Kiyamova brings more than 20 years of experience in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and addiction. She also has extensive expertise in neuropsychiatry, treating patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, migraines, chronic pain and post-stroke recovery.

Dr. Kiyamova earned her medical degree from Kazan Medical University in Russia and completed her residency training in psychiatry and neuropharmacology at Stony Brook University Hospital Medical Center in Long Island. 

Throughout her career, Dr. Kiyamova has provided care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including Albany Medical College, St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, Rockland Psychiatric Center and the VA Medical Center in Montrose. She has also held academic appointments as assistant professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at New York Medical College and instructor in psychiatry at Albany Medical College.
