Heart-A-Thon Supports Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills

HARRIS, NY (July 1, 2026) — Les Kristt, 98.3 WSUL’s Heart-A-Thon Committee Chair, and Dawn Ciorciari, Bold Gold Media Group General Manager, presented a $50,000 check to Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills from the proceeds of this year’s 48th Annual
WSUL Heart-A-Thon, which took place on February 20 at Resorts World Catskills. Each year, Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills is proud to be one of the chosen beneficiaries of the annual event.
“We are incredibly grateful to WSUL’s Heart-A-Thon Committee, Bold Gold Media Group and everyone who contributed to this year’s event,” said Megan Evans, Garnet Health Medical Center – Catskills Manager of Philanthropy. “Their generosity supports our ability to provide cardiac care close to home, ensuring our community has access to high-quality care.”
Benefits raised will go toward the treatment, education and prevention of heart disease in Sullivan County. This year’s proceeds will support the funding of telemonitor transmitters, a central monitoring system and bedside monitors.
