Charles Fasanya, MD, FACS, FRCS has joined the Greater Hudson Valley Health System Medical Group which includes Orange Regional Medical Group.
He is the newest member of the Trauma Surgical team at Orange Regional Medical Center. Dr. Fasanya brings with him extensive experience in Trauma and Acute Care surgery from Staten Island University Hospital, in Staten Island, New York, where he served as director of Trauma/Surgical Critical Care Service since 2013.

Dr. Fasanya is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the Royal College of Surgeons of England and Edinburgh (FRCS). He is certified by the General Surgery Board and the Surgical Critical Care Board, and is a member of the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Fasanya has an extensive background in training surgical Residents and Trauma Fellows, and has trained some of the finest Trauma/Critical Care Surgeons in the country.
Dr. Fasanya received his medical degree from University College Hospital, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He completed his surgical residency at Harlem Hospital Center, a Level I Trauma Center in New York, affiliated with Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. Dr. Fasanya completed his Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the Robert Woods Johnson Medical School of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Camden, New Jersey. He was also Attending Trauma and Surgical Care/General Surgeon at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.
