At Garnet Health, our Parkinson’s Rehabilitation Program provides comprehensive, outpatient therapy services designed to help individuals living with Parkinson’s disease maintain independence and improve quality of life. Physical Therapy: Focused on improving strength, balance, and coordination to enhance mobility and reduce fall risk.

Occupational Therapy: Helps patients safely perform everyday tasks—such as dressing, grooming, and cooking—by developing adaptive strategies that promote independence.

Speech Therapy (LSVT LOUD®): (Middletown and Harris only) Specialized techniques to improve voice strength, clarity, and swallowing for more effective communication and safety.

LSVT BIG® Program: An evidence-based, high-intensity exercise approach that retrains movement patterns through large, purposeful motions to improve walking, posture, and overall motor control.

Education and Support: Resources and training for patients and families to better understand Parkinson’s disease, manage symptoms, and support long-term wellness.
