Occupational Therapy Treatment Services

Occupational Therapy provides evaluations, treatment and splinting for upper extremity and hand problems. Our treatment plans generally include therapeutic exercise geared towards the patient's activities of daily living. Our occupational therapists' goal is to maximize a patient's independence at home by developing strength and confidence and restoring mobility and function.

Common conditions that occupational therapy can treat are orthopedic conditions such as:

  • Carpal tunnel syndrome/release
  • Wrist fractures
  • Dequervains tenosynovitis

  • Neurological conditions such as stroke and traumatic brain injury

If you have difficulty using your arms and hands, completing your daily activities, require an adaptive device, or need dynamic or static splinting, we will work with you to meet your personal goals.
